Real product development experience at scale — leading innovation teams at Netflix, building distribution infrastructure, and managing technology products for the most demanding production environments in the world.
Chaos · Real-Time Ray Tracing for Virtual Production
Chaos Arena is a groundbreaking real-time path-tracing renderer that delivers cinema-quality ray-traced visuals directly to LED volumes and art department previsualization environments — without preprocessing. Mesh has led the hands-on development and deployment of Arena across active VP stages and art department workflows.
This work spans proof-of-concept validation, stage integration, operator training, and deployment on live productions — bridging the gap between what the technology can do in a lab and what it needs to deliver on a working stage under production conditions.
Pixelworks · TrueCut Motion Platform · All Formats
TrueCut Motion gives filmmakers precise control over how motion is experienced by audiences across every display technology — from standard theatrical to large format projection and stereoscopic 3D. Mesh leads the integration of TrueCut Flash and Motion Grade into existing mastering workflows, across the full range of finishing formats.
This work covers end-to-end pipeline integration — from DI suite through final deliverables — ensuring that motion grading fits naturally into established post workflows without disrupting existing mastering processes. The scope spans all release formats, including Large Format Projection (LFP) and stereo 3D finishing, where motion rendering has historically been the hardest problem to solve.
Netflix · Product Innovation Team Lead · 2014—2019
As Title Operations Manager at Netflix, the scope of the role expanded year-over-year to encompass the full global distribution pipeline for Netflix Originals — and ultimately led to leading a product innovation team focused on one of Netflix's core competitive challenges: delivering culturally resonant artwork at the scale required by a global platform.
Netflix serves content to hundreds of countries and regions, each requiring localized artwork, trailers, and marketing assets. The manual process for producing and QC'ing localized artwork was a bottleneck at the pace Netflix was growing. The product innovation team's mandate was to automate it.
Leading this effort required bridging creative, engineering, operations, and localization teams — translating complex production and creative requirements into a scalable automated system. The product shipped and became part of Netflix's global distribution infrastructure.
The experience of building product inside Netflix — at the pace and scale Netflix operates — is a direct input into how Mesh approaches product development consulting. Speed matters. Cross-functional alignment matters. And the product has to work in the real world, not just in a demo.
Mesh currently advises two technology companies navigating critical inflection points — helping them find product-market fit, scale efficiently, and build products that work in real production environments.
Advising the CEO of Pixelworks on scaling the company's TrueCut Motion platform — a pioneering motion grading technology that gives filmmakers control over how motion is experienced by audiences across different display technologies.
The engagement focuses on finding efficiencies as Pixelworks scales while developing software plugins, identifying product-market fit opportunities, and bringing M&E production workflow expertise to a technology company at a pivotal growth stage.
Advising Chaos on the product roadmap for Arena — their groundbreaking real-time path-tracing solution for in-camera VFX. Mesh brings the production floor perspective that shapes how Arena evolves, translating what productions actually need into product development priorities.

For M&E technology companies building products for production and distribution — or studios building internal tools — Mesh provides senior product leadership and domain expertise.
Most M&E technology consultants come from either the technology side or the production side. Mesh is one of the rare practices that has operated deeply in both — building product at Netflix, supervising production at Lucasfilm, and managing technical pipelines at Disney.
That dual fluency is what allows Mesh to ask the right questions — and to know which answers are actually true versus which ones sound good in a pitch.
